Post Doctor

  • Department of Building and Environmental Technology

My research lies at the intersection of environmental engineering and data science.

Lines of research

Electromembrane processes

  • Fine ion separation achieved through the superposition of electroosmosis and ion concentration polarisation
  • Combining physics-informed machine learning with experimental data for the development of a new electromembrane separation technique

Precipitation monitoring

  • Precipitation monitoring using Commercial Microwave Links
  • Interpolation and merging of rainfall data using geostatistical methods

Projects

  • TIES – Tunable ion separations with micro-structured composite membranes (2025-2029, The Research Council of Norway)
  • OpenSense – Opportunistic precipitation sensing network (2021-2025, Cost Action)
