I have a research background in forest and energy sector analyses, bioenergy, climate-smart forestry, as well as circularity and wood reuse – motivated by how forest resources can be managed sustainably in the face of climate change, the energy transition, and the green shift.

I hold a master’s degree in forestry and a doctoral degree (Dr. Scient) in forest economics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). I also earned a master’s degree in forestry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
As Pro-Rector for Research and Innovation, I will work to implement the university’s research strategy, promote interdisciplinary collaboration both internally and externally, and ensure high quality in research activities.
