Daumantas Bloznelis is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He holds a PhD in economics/finance from NMBU, with coursework completed at Cornell University, and an MSc in statistics/econometrics from Vilnius University.
He has previously held positions as a financial analyst at Terra Markets AS, research fellow in economics/finance at NMBU, postdoctoral researcher in statistics at KU Leuven, and Associate Professor of Business Analytics at the University of Inland Norway.
Daumantas’s primary research interests lie in forecasting and risk management in financial markets. More broadly, his work also covers time series analysis, machine learning, and decision theory.
