Abbas Roozbahani is an Associate Professor of Water Infrastructure Engineering in the Water Group at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Engineering and Management.
He has extensive experience teaching at several universities, coordinating MSc programs, leading national and international research projects funded by academic, governmental, and private institutions, and supervising numerous MSc and PhD students. He has also published widely in high-impact journals.
His research and teaching interests include sustainable water management, urban water systems (drinking water, wastewater, stormwater), risk and resilience assessment of water infrastructure, simulation and optimization of water systems, hydroinformatics, and asset management.
