Course contents:
The course covers the principles of academic writing for the natural sciences.
Learning outcome:
The course objective is to develop writing skills for term papers, bachelor and master theses, and scientific publications.
Learning activities:
Lectures, discussion groups and individual writing rehearsals.

Recommended prerequisites:
Mandatory activity:
Students must attend 7 out of 10 lectures; 1 writing rehearsal, and the final writing rehearsal. Must pass mandatory mid-term writing rehearsal, including the final writing rehearsal. Student mid-term assessment.
Assessment:
Continuous evaluation: Passed/Not Passed.

The course is given in Norwegian but involves reading of scientific papers in English.
