Preferential right:
M-KJEMI, M-KB
Course contents:
Lectures are given by the teacher during the first part of the semester. In the second part of the semester, exercises will be reviewed by the teacher in cooperation with the students.
Learning outcome:

Gain comprehensive knowledge of organic spectroscopic methods, especially UV/visible, IR, NMR (especially 1H and 13C) and MS. Gain a good understanding of how and when the methods are used, and be able to use the methods in an independent way for determining the structure of unknown organic compounds. Special emphasis will be placed on natural products.

KNOWLEDGE: Know the most important concepts of organic spectroscopy. Be able to interpret spectra without remedy.

SKILLS: Be able to work independently, and solve complex spectra.

Learning activities:
Lectures. Colloquia/group work. Midterm exam with detailed evaluation. Independent study.
Teaching support:

The office hours will be announced at the beginning of the semester. Questions sent by e-mail will also be answered.
