Usually group work with two students in each group.

Learning outcome:

The students will learn elementary biochemical techniques:

  • Pipetting of small volumes.
  • Elementary Spectrophotometry.
  • Standard Curves.
  • Measurement of protein concentrations.
  • Measurement of enzyme activity, including enzyme kinetics.
  • Chromatography of proteins.
  • Gel-electrophoresis of proteins.
  • Measuring anti-oxidants and vitamin C.
  • Gels and viscosity.

The laboratory course will give some depth study of some part of KJB200.
