About this course

The course is made up of 4 main parts:

  1. Lectures in land consolidation legislation
  2. Lectures in material land consolidation
  3. Exercises to be submitted
  4. Role play in court-based mediation

Learning outcome

Students should have in-depth knowledge in the regulations in the Land Consolidation Act, the most commonly used techniques and valuation methods in order to work professionally with land consolidation.
  • Lectures. Compulsory exercise work, partly indoors and partly in the field. Role play.
  • Supervision in connection with the exercises.

  • An external examiner participates in the evaluation of all the candidates' examination answers.

    Great emphasis is put on getting an examiner who is willing to enter a role as a participator in the quality assurance process. The same examiner is used for several years, so that a comparison over time is possible. The examiner is systematically and thoroughly informed about the aims, contents, arrangements and conduction of the course. The examiner also participates in the production of the examination papers. Finally, a discussion is held between the examiner, teachers and possibly a small number of students.
