After the course, the student should:
Knowledge:
-Have knowledge of concepts, thematical subjects, and responsibilities within local infection control and prevention
-Have knowledge on legislation, stakeholders, planning, management, and contingency planning
Skills
-Be able to conduct health impact assessments and risk and vulnerability analyses
-Be able to use national register data and statistics on health and environmental risk factors
-Be able to understand GIS as a tool for assessing risk
Generral competence
-Be able to identify and discuss ethical issues and dilemmas within local infection control and prevention.
-Have knowledge on how to investigate, plan, conduct and evaluate a local challenge within infection control and prevention, together with relevant stakeholders.
