On 15 December, the University Library’s search service, Oria, will be upgraded. After the upgrade, saved searches and links will need to be recreated.

Oria, the University Library's search service, will be upgraded to a new and improved version on 15 December, making it even easier to find both print and electronic resources. Before the transition, however, there are a few things you should be aware of:

This will take care of itself

  • Your favourites will be transferred automatically.

This requires action

  • Saved links to records and searches: If you have saved links to Oria - for example as browser bookmarks - these will no longer work after the upgrade. The library recommends creating new links after the transition.
  • Saved searches and search history in your Oria account: These will unfortunately not be transferred. If you wish to keep your searches, the library recommends copying them to an external document before the upgrade so you can easily recreate them later.
  • Settings in your user profile: Choices related to search history will be reset. The library therefore recommends logging in and adjusting your settings as desired after the upgrade.

There may be some minor disruptions or temporary issues during the transition period. The University Library is working to make the transition as smooth as possible.
