PhD public defence and trial lecture. On 27 June, Marina Bakhtina, School of Landscape Architecture, will defend her thesis: 'Plant tolerance, traits, and responses to the environment of vegetated infiltration systems in cold climates'. 

Norsk tittel på avhandlingen: Plante­toleranse, egenskaper og responser på miljøet i vegetasjonsbaserte infiltrasjonssystemer i kalde klima.

Prescribed subject of the trial lecture:
Selection of perennial plants for nature-based solutions: What can we learn from mesocosm trials, physiological adaptations, and ecological niche theory to achieve real-world implementation?
