Relevant studies for the industries
The focus on internships is important for enhancing the relevance of study programs to the business sector. Job descriptions from companies are tailored to the content of the study programs, allowing students to apply their academic knowledge during the internship. Many companies have requested expertise in sustainability, based on NMBU's and the School of Economics and Business's sustainability profile.
Being an English speaking student, we only have a few internships today in English speaking businesses. But work with our staff and see if you might be able to find your own business - the possibility is there!
Who can apply?
The internship as an elective course is offered to students in the third year of the bachelor’s programs in Economics and Business Administration and to first-year master's students in the spring or second-year master's students in the fall.
The study programs represent a broad range of subjects that offer highly varied internships. A common denominator is that students contribute unique academic expertise from their studies to solve sustainability-related issues.
