Universita degli Studi di Napoli is located in southern Italy's largest city, with 1 million inhabitants. Naples is traditionally considered the birthplace of pizza, and is not far from the volcano Vesuvius.

  • Agreement

    The agreement applies to food science, but it may be possible to choose courses from some other fields as well.

    Length of stay:

    1 semester.

  • Who can apply

    For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

  • Language of Instruction

    Italian and some English. Naples requires B2 in English skills. This can be documented with a minimum of 4 in English from VGS.

  • Semester timing

    Fall semester: September till February

    Spring Semester: March till July.

  • Tuition fees

    Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
