  • Selected databases. See also the complete list of databases. 

    • Scopus: science, technology, medicine, social sciences, citation search.
    • Web of Science: interdisciplinary database with the main emphasis on science resources. Among other things, you will find the Zoological Record under All Databases in Web of Science, which covers areas of systematics, taxonomy, evolution, behaviour, ecology, parasitology, physiology, animal geography.
    • Eric: references to articles, books, doctoral dissertations in pedagogy and psychology. Over two thirds of the content is full text.

    • arXiv (1991-): a free distribution service and an open-access archive for 1,871,694 scholarly articles in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, statistics, electrical engineering and systems science, and economics.
    • Byggforskserien: Students at NMBU can create a student subscription to SINTEF's Byggforskserie (Building Research Series). The series provides documented solutions and recommendations for the design, construction and management of buildings.
