By Studieadministrasjon Landsam

On this page, you will find practical, concise information about assessment work, deadlines, required forms, and key contacts

• Access to systems

Once the agreement has been submitted, you will receive access to the various digital systems in which your examiner duties will be carried out:

- Fagpersonweb
(assessment system for Canvas submissions)

- Wiseflow
(assessment system for Wiseflow submissions)

- Canvas
(student submissions and portfolios, access restricted for external users)

The internal examiner/course coordinator will contact you with practical information related to your examiner duties.

• Assessment Process

At NMBU, two different digital systems are used for registering ordinary assessments, appeals assessments, and for issuing statements of justification. The system used depends on the type of examination.

If the students completed their exam and/or submitted their work in the WiseFlow examination system, the assessment and any statements of justification must also be registered in WiseFlow. In all other cases, the system FagpersonWeb is used.

• Remuneration

New Procedures for Honorarium Payments at LANDSAM

Starting from autumn 2025, honorarium payments will be issued only after the faculty has received confirmation from the course responsible teacher, or the supervisor for thesis assessments, that the assessment work has been completed.

External examiners will no longer be required to submit a separate form for honorarium payment.

• Travel and Expense Reimbursement

If NMBU is to cover expenses for travel or accommodation, this must be agreed upon in advance. All bookings shall be arranged by NMBU employees on behalf of the guest, using the university’s approved supplier.

Alternatively, expenses may be reimbursed upon submission of original receipts.
The following form must be used as the basis for reimbursement:
