EDS373 Maritime Crime, Piracy and International Relations
About this course
Nominal workload 48 hours of lectures.In addition the students do extensive reading and individual studies, and write a term paper wich will amount to 252 hours. The total student working hours will be around 300 hours.

Objective of course 1. Students should understand simple explanatory models for crime 2. Students should be able to understand the conenctions between crime and statebuilding 3. Students should understand the development processes governing the formation of anti-piracy guidelines and maritime security doctrine ad tinternational cooperation relatedto these.
