About this course
This course includes central themes on leading people and teams. The course perspective is linked to social sustainability and have strong focus on Norwegian work life and own leadership role.
The course starts with exercises in self-reflection and analysis of own leadership skills and strengths. Review of theory and discussion of practice on the following topics:
- The "Norwegian model" in work life
- Governance and leadership
- Ethics and social interaction
- Leadership behavior
- Teams and team leadership
- Communication and change management
Learning outcome
After completing the course, the student will have the following learning outcomes, divided into knowledge, skills, and general competence:

- has basic knowledge of management in organizations and Norwegian working life

- has acquired skills in self-assessment and role analysis
General competence
The student:
- has general competence in understanding, analyzing, and discussing management forms in organizations, with a particular emphasis on social sustainability
