Dr. Shai André Divon is curretnly the Head of the Department of International Environment and Development Studies (Noragric), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). His work focuses on power through foreign assistance, development politics, and post-conflict reconstruction. Dr. Divon's research and experience is varied and interdisciplinary, and includes work on US foreign assistance policy in Africa, gender based violence and legal pluralism, and police reform in post conflicts states. His current work includes particapation in Noragric’s ‘Greenmentality'project where his research is focused on a critical perspective on govenrnace of natural resources through certification schemes. Dr. Divon also leads the Uganda cases study in Noragric's EU Horizon2020 project on Community Based Policing.
