Genetics of feed efficiency in salmon (with researcher: Hanne Dvergedal)

Genetics of male fertility in dairy cattle (supervising PhD: Henriette Berg Olsen)

Breeding program for sheep in Ethiopia (co-supervising PhD: Haile Weleregay Gebreslase)

Life cycle assesment in dairy cattle production (co-supervising: PhD Torgunn Skjerve)

Future breeding goals from applying robustess and allocation theory (co-supervising: PhD Line Sass Kierkegaard) 

Kelp breeding (co-supervising: PhD, to be emoloyed)

    Breeding kelp for efficient and sustainable utilization of marine resources (Breed4Kelp2Feed)
    Breed4Kelp2Feed aims to initiate breeding of sugar kelp (Saccharina latissima, a marine brown macroalgae) designed for sustainable production of high yields.

    Reproductive sustainability in Norwegian Red cows
    Successful reproduction is the result of complex interactions of many factors affected by genetics as well as environment. This project will deliver knowledge and tools to improve dairy cow fertility
