Course contents:

The course consists of

Theme group 1: Management of learning-processes - management of learning- and development in individual and group perspectives

Theme group 2: The school in the society - management of learning- and development in an organisational and societal perspectives

Topics: Planning, implementing and assessing teaching based on didactical principles, theories and experiences. Informal and formal assessment. Inductive learning and experiential learning. Analysis of qualifications as the basis for teaching and learning. General direction of professional studies. Use of nature and accociated education seen in societal perspectives. Learning outcome:
The students shall be able to implement, support and justify teaching with the help of didactical principles, experiences and theories.
Learning activities:
The course is practice-based in that reflections and theory is closely tied to school/vocational-practice. The course requires collaboration between students and it is supported by online rescourses.
Teaching support:
The students will be supervised in the compulsory activities and co-operate in groups.

Prerequisites:
The requirement for taking the course is teaching competence in the vocational Programme of Agriculture, Fishery and Forestry in upper secondary school.
