The course starts in August block. The course has teaching in august block, autumn parallel, january block. The course has evaluation in august block, autumn parallel, january block and spring parallel.

25 spots are reserved for first year student from the teacher training program. The remaining spots are for those starting the teacher training program with previous relevant education.
The students shall be supervised during the compulsory activities and teaching practice.
An overview shall be distributed on Canvas upon course start.
250 hours included 15 days during student practicum that equals a fulltime teachers workload.
Reduction of credits:
PPFD300 5 credits. PPPE300 5 credits.
Type of course:
Blocks. The course consists of 3 weeks of theory gatherings
two weeks in the August block and one week in the January block. In the periods between the gatherings, the teachers and the students will use information and communication technology (ICT) in order to write, inform, supervise, deliver assignments and communicate with other students, together with contact with libraries and databases. Practical teaching in the course consists of 15 days supervised group work. Practical teaching shall take place during the August block (5 days) and January block (10 days). The students' practical teaching shall be carried out at the same school. During the practice period, the students shall receive one visit from the NMBU teachers.
