The course is built up around a series of tasks and lecture supporting the studientes work. Material knowledge and constructions in detail planning, project- and construktions work attach importance. The studiens will be referd to literature and examples. He/she must amplify themes in literature,web sides and examples. Guidiens will be givend individual or in groups.
Knowledge Students will develop creative solutions for various structural elements, vegetation and materials used in green areas. The students will gain knowledge and understanding for how materials are jused i different situations/connections, constructional requirements for different types of material which are used for different load / use, including foundations.Knowledge of use of materials. Skill The ability to find creative solutions should be shown through project: the tender documents drawings, technical description NS3420 and tasks and self-regulation of project process. General competence Innovative solutions are related to knowledge and skills, with independent acquirement of new knowledge and new skills. To plan and implement various tasks and meticulously detailed planning in line with academic and professional ethical standards.

An approved 2 1/2 year study in Landscape engineering from NMBU or other educational institutions, or the equivalent. An approved two-year basic block in Landscape Architecture from UMB or the equivalent. Approved bachelor in Landscape Architecture from other educational institutions.
LAA221/LAA233 and LAD101/LAD100.
Students need to attend 80% of woorkshop,commen valuation and excursions. Clean up rooms used in LAA216.
Project assignments and studentpresentation are evaluated.
Total workload: 300 hours.
Minimum requirements for entrance to higher education in Norway (generell studiekompetanse)
Reduction of credits:
Whith LAA215, 5 ECTS.

Costs of compulsory field trips will be covered by UMB.
