Learning outcome
Knowledge
The students will understand how buildings and landscape influence each other, and methods to evaluate this.
They will know the tools used to ensure sustainable urban development, digital tools for urban planning.
They will know the role of the landscape architect and how it works in cooperation with other disciplines.
Skills
To choose analysis methods that describe the possibilities for sustainable urban development of an area.
To develop ideas how to integrate buildings in landscape.
To understand what elements provide qualities to urban sites.
To draw landscape plans taking care of building structures and landscape qualities.
To develop technical plans, knowing they are a means of ensuring qualities to the urban environment.
The students will train digital tools both in 2D and 3D.
General Competence
The students will understand the spatial relations, basic dimensions for the urban project, the importance of taking care of the natural and landscape qualities of the site.
They will train organizing their work, participating in debates, working transversally with other fields and disciplines.
They will plan and develop a variety of projects showing professional integrity and respect for others.
They will effectively communicate their ideas in texts, orally and in form of drawings.

Portfolio Grading: Passed / Not Passed - The external sensor will evaluate assignments and be present at the final presentation and evaluate the projects developed by the students.
- Participation in surveys and excursions. Participation in review sessions. Participation in seminars. Participation in supervision. Exercises landscape grading. Minimum of 80% attendance.
