Course contents:
Students will develop a business, register the business, obtain initial capital, write a business plan and annual report, plan operation and production, run and close down the company.
Learning outcome:
The students will by completing the course get basic insight and skills in process tools for idea generation, business model generation and team development. Basic knowledge in market analysis, and practical skills in marketing and sales of a product or service is also important.The students should be familiar with the most commmon laws and regulations for staring up, running and closing down a business and be able to prepare a budget and practice financial control.
Learning activities:
The course is based on a combination of traditional lectures and experiential team work. The student enterprises will have an internal or external mentor. The students is expected to participate and present their business idea and enterprise on local and regional arenas.

Mandatory activity:
Firms must be registered in Young Enterprise and the Brønnøysund Registry.
Assessment:
The basis for the overall evaluation is an idea report and business plan (counts 70%) and the presentation of the enterprise (counts 30%). These form the basis for a goup evalutain and grading.

Type of course:
The course will be structured in themes and lectures will be held as introductions to those. Most of the learning activites will be conducted through independent team work under supervision.
