Engelsk:Principles for electrochemical energy conversion and thermodynamics Electromotive force and capacitance Electrode materials Electrode reactions Choice of commercially available systems
Learning outcome:
The course is aimed at giving competence in principles and technology for electrochemical conversion of energy.
Learning activities:
Lectures, Examples, Discussions, Term thesis within the field may be conducted as a part of FYS375

Syllabus:
Curriculum will be given in sufficient time before examination.

FYS 251, FYS 271, KJM 100, KJM 120

Assessment:
written examination, 3 hours.
Nominal workload:
Organized lectures will be 2 h x15 weeks (30 hours) and 2 h x15 weeks colloquium . Total workload is 300 hours, the difference consisting of own studies, preparation for lectures, examination with preparation.

The course is given only if at least three students have signed up.

Note: The course will not be taught in the spring term 2015. Starting with the 2015/16 academic year, the course will be taught in the fall term.

Examiner:
The external and internal examiner jointly prepare the exam questions and the correction manual. The external examiner reviews the internal examiner's examination results by correcting a random sample of candidate¿s exams as a calibration according to the Department's guidelines for examination markings.
