Course contents:
Research ethics, consideration of sensistive data and information, organizing litterature and development of a research plan.
Learning outcome:
Students should develop competence in developing a project plan for a research project.
Learning activities:
Seminars and independent work on the development of a project plan in collaboration with supervisor(s).
Teaching support:
Dialog during seminars and individual guidance in agreement with supervisor on master thesis.
Syllabus:
Individual literature, depending on the topic of the student's project plan.
Prerequisites:
FHV200/FHV330, FHV210, FHV220/FHV320.
Recommended prerequisites:
Mandatory activity:
Participation in two seminars.
Assessment:
Project plan and the presentation of this counts 100 %. Evaluated as passed/not passed.
Nominal workload:
Total work load: 150 hrs. Seminars: 30 hrs. Individual work: 120 hrs.
Entrance requirements:
Minimum requirements for entrance to higher education in Norway (generell studiekompetanse).
Reduction of credits:
FHV350, FHV350D, FHV351, FHV352.
Type of course:
Two seminars/workshops of two to three days each.
Examiner:
External examinar participates in the evaluation of the project plan.
