Course contents:
Block teaching in week 35. 3 credits in the block 7 credits in the parallel
Learning outcome:
The students should be able to conduct professional collection of data related to property condition through observation, interviews and document studies, and carry out analyses. They should be able to use the structured conversation with players (landowner, right holders and other players) as working tools. Work in groups.
Learning activities:
Formal interviews, structured discussions, group work, document studies, the writing of a report (project), oral and written presentations, partly with guidance, partly independently.
Teaching support:
Supervision.

Will be distributed at the start of the course as a part of the course overview.

EIE302, EIE320, JUS331

Mandatory activity:
Active participation during field work, group work and in the oral presentation for all groups.

Type of course:
Field work with supervision: 35 hours. Group-based supervision: 6 hours. Presentation with feedback: 1 hour (plus 3 hours giving feedback to the presentations of other groups).

Examiner:

An external examiner participates in the evaluation of all the candidates' examination papers. Great emphasis is placed on getting an examiner who is willing to enter a role as a partner in the quality assurance process. The same examiner is used for several years, so that a comparison over time is possible. The examiner is systematically and thoroughly informed about the aims, contents, arrangements and conduction of the course. Finally, a discussion is held between the examiner and teachers.
