Course contents:

Lectures, Exercises in map understanding (outdoors and indoors), Exsercise in GPS ,easurments. Individual report writing.

Learning outcome:
The student knows central terms and systems of surveying and mapping for professional land (property) managment relevant map reference systems, projections, co-ordinate systems etc., different systems of mesuring property borders. The student is capable of understanding older property maps. The student knows principles of property borderkline reconstructions registration and documentation. The student has taated GPS measurments.

Lectures, Reading, Exercises in map understanding (outdoors and indoors), Exercise in GPS ,easurments. Individual report writing.

Mandatory activity:
All excersises ar mandatory. Individually report writing.

Reports - general map understanding. Report - historical property maps. GPS exercise report. Final report ("home exam")
