Mathematical notions and computational techniques related to limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, analysis and optimization in one and two variables, with and without constraints is the core of the course. Geometric series and simple differential equations are also covered.
After course completion masters:

2. Basic differentiation and algebraic manipulations in one and two variables
3. Transform a verbally formulated model into its mathematical equivalent
Lectures covers the curriculum.
Students get problem sets which aims to develop mathematical insight as well as computational skills. Supervised study groups will aid the students in achieving this goal.
