Department of teacher education and educational science
The Department of teacher education and educational science (ILU) offers science teacher education, practical-pedagogical education in science and natural sciences, as well as continuing education for teachers.
We have an active research environment with both national and international projects. Education for sustainable development is prominent in both our research and teaching.
With a science teacher education at NMBU, you get both a master's degree in science and teaching competence in two school subjects. The program qualifies you to teach in upper secondary school and at junior high school.
