About the study programme
Acknowledged by the International Federation of Landscape Architects, the program addresses the environmental and social challenges the world is facing today.
It seeks theoretical and practical responses from a landscape architectural perspective and specifically addresses contested landscapes. Contested landscapes are territories of contradicting or competing interests regarding the use and development of these territories, for example, floodplains, urban green spaces or coastal areas.
The research-driven programme provides specific methods, knowledge, and skills for working in ways that are sensitive to different socio-cultural and ecological contexts.
The studio-based programme responds to the dynamic evolution of the landscape profession to navigate the challenges our environment presents. As such, it will train and prepare professionals who will design, plan and manage sustainable and resilient places.
