The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network (NOVA), is a university cooperation aimed at supporting the understanding of major global challenges in a Nordic context. Together we provide high quality, international level education for PhD and Master’s students by financing Nordic collaborative postgraduate courses and other projects. The network is 20 years old in 2015.

NOVA PhD Course "Biological Consequences of Selection" - New Application Deadline (18 May 2015)
The application deadline for the NOVA PhD course "Biological Consequences of Selection" is prolonged until 15 June 2015.

NOVA PhD Course in the Reindeer Industry - Application Deadline 21 May 2015 (18 May 2015)
The NOVA PhD Course "Connecting Science and Local Communities in Rangifer Research" will take place on 10-15 August 2015 in Enafors, Sweden. Application deadline: 21 May 2015.

Second Round of NOVA Open Call 2015  (16 April 2015)
It is still possible to apply for NOVA support for Nordic collaborative PhD and Master's courses for the second round of the open call 2015. Applications must be submitted to the home institution by 21 May 2015. It is an easy process to apply for support from NOVA. For successful PhD course applications applied for from 1 January 2015, independent of the 10% in administration fees budgeted in the grant, the Board will provide an additional grant of EUR 2 500 to cover administration, regardless of actual costs.

NOVA Open Call 2015 - Open for Applications
In 2015, there will be three application deadlines for grant applications for PhD courses, Master's courses exceeding EUR 5 000 and for course series. NB! Applications are approved by the NOVA board three times a year. Courses approved in the March meeting in 2015 can be implemented in the autumn 2015 or in 2016. Courses approved in later board meetings in 2015 can run in 2016.
