The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network (NOVA), is a university cooperation aimed at supporting the understanding of major global challenges in a Nordic context. Together we provide high quality, international level education for PhD and Master’s students by financing Nordic collaborative postgraduate courses and other projects. The network is 20 years old in 2015.

NOVA Board approved 10 new PhD Courses for 2016 (3 July 2015)
Each of the 10 new NOVA PhD courses for 2016 will be presented in a course information webpage in August 2015. Please see the list of courses.

NOVA Master's Course "RNAi Techniques for Insect Pest Management: Ecological and Commercial Considerations" - Open for Applications (29 June 2015)
The course will take place on 14-18 September 2015 at the University of Helsinki in Finland. Application deadline: 14 August 2015.

NOVA PhD Course "Food Stability" - Open for Applications (29 June 2015)
The NOVA PhD course "Food Stablility" will take place on 24-28 August 2015 at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Application deadline: 17 August 2015.

NOVA PhD Course "Environmental Technology for Treatment and Manaement of the Bio-Waste Manure" - Extended Deadline (29 June 2015)
The application deadline for the NOVA PhD course "Environmental Technology for Treatment and Management of the Bio-Wate Manure" is extended to 5 August 2015.

NOVA PhD Course in the Reindeer Industry - Still Some Available Seats (29 May 2015)
The NOVA PhD Course "Connecting Science and Local Communities in Rangifer Research" will take place on 10-15 August 2015 in Enafors, Sweden. There is still room for some more students at the course. Please send your application as soon as possible.

NOVA Open Call 2015 - Open for Applications (14 April 2015)
In 2015, there will be three application deadlines for grant applications for PhD courses, Master's courses exceeding EUR 5 000 and for course series. NB! Applications are approved by the NOVA Board three times a year. Courses approved in the March meeting in 2015 can be implemented in the autumn 2015 or in 2016. Courses approved in later board meetings in 2015 can run in 2016.
