The Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural University Network (NOVA), is a university cooperation aimed at supporting the understanding of major global challenges in a Nordic context. Together we provide high quality, international level education for PhD and Master’s students by financing Nordic collaborative postgraduate courses and other projects. The network is 20 years old in 2015.

NOVA Open Call 2015 - 3rd Round (25 August 2015)
It is still possible to apply for NOVA support for Nordic collaborative PhD and Master's courses for the third and last round of the open call 2015. Applications must be submitted to the home institution by 2 October 2015. It is an easy process to apply for support from NOVA. For successful PhD course applications applied for from 1 January 2015, independent of the 10% in administration fees budgeted in the grant, the Board will provide an additional grant of EUR 2 500 to cover administration, regardless of actual costs.

NOVA Master's Course "RNAi Techniques for Insect Pest Management: Ecological and Commercial Considerations" - Extended Deadline (19 August 2015)
The application deadline for the NOVA Master's Course "RNAi Techniques for Insect Pest Management: Ecological and Commercial Considerations" is extended to 10 September.

NOVA PhD course "Chemical and Genomic Insight to Host-Microbe Symbiotic Interactions " - Open for Applications (19 August 2015)
The NOVA PhD course "Chemical and Genomic Insight to Host-Microbe Symbiotic Interactions" will take place on 23-27 May 2016 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Application deadline: 15 January 2016.

NOVA PhD Course "Pathology of Large Animal Disease Models" - Open for Applications (11 August 2015)
The NOVA PhD course "Pathology of Large Animal Disease Models" will take place on 25-29 January 2016 at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Application deadline: 1 November 2015.

NOVA Board approved 10 new PhD Courses for 2016 (3 July 2015)
Each of the 10 new NOVA PhD courses for 2016 will be presented in a course information webpage in August 2015. Please see the list of courses.
