- Web of Science – interdisciplinary database with the main emphasis on science resources.
- Scopus – science, technology, medicine, social sciences, citation search.
- Statistics Norway
- AJOL - African Journals Online. The world's largest collection of African scientific journals. About 50% of them are digital.
- CGSpace - research in agriculture. Contains reports, articles, presentations, videos, etc. Published by the International Livestock Research Institute.
- CORE - Open Access Research Papers.
- Eldis - full-text documents and organizations within environmental and development studies. Documents, organizations and news sorted by country.
- SciELO - digital scientific journals with articles in Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English. Interdisciplinary research literature from the Latin American countries as well as Spain, Portugal and South Africa.
- Helsebiblioteket - national and free resources. Databases, electronic journals, summarized research and encyclopedias.
- Medline (OVID)*: 1946-present. All areas of medicine, including dentistry and nursing.
- Medline (EBSCO)*: The largest and most used database in medicine. Contains journal articles in medicine, veterinary medicine, health sciences and nursing.
- PubMed - free access for all
- Idunn- full text articles in journals published by the Universitetsforlaget.
- Byggforskserien - published by SINTEF
- Idunn - full text articles in journals published by the Universitetsforlaget.
- Lovdata Pro - Norwegian and European law sources. Students must create their own user account. The base is used as a study tool and exam aid. The license agreement applies to all employees and students at NMBU.
