Denmark is a popular country among Norwegian students, and the differences from studies in Norway are small. The country has about 5.5 million inhabitants and approximately 1.2 million of them live in and around the capital Copenhagen. NMBU has partner universities in Århus, Lyngby and Copenhagen. Århus is located in Jylland and is Denmark's second largest city with approximately 300.000 inhabitants. Lyngby is located about 10 km north of Copenhagen and has about 40.000 residents.
