Eg er prosjektkoordinator for Universitetsskoleprosjektet, eit samarbeid mellom fire videregåande skular (Ås, Frogn, Hvam og Ski), Akershus Fylkeskommune og lærerutdanninga ved Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet (NMBU). Prosjektet har som mål å drive utvikling og forsking innan utdanning for bærekraftig utvikling.
I tillegg er eg i sluttfasen av ein PhD knytt til forskingsprosjektet UtVite. Fokuset i studiet mitt er på formidling av kontroverser i vitensenter. I studiet har eg samarbeida med ei gruppe formidlarar i eit vitensenter om å designe eit undervisningsopplegg om bakterieresistens for elevar i videregåande skule.
I work as a project coordinater in the University-school project, a collaboration between four upper secondary schools (Ås, Frogn, Hvam and Ski), Akershus County Council and the teacher education at Norwegian university for life sciences. Through the project, we aim to develop practive and research within education for sustainable development.
In addition, I am a PhD-candidate at the Faculty of Science and Technology (RealTek), NMBU. The study is part of the research group Expand. My research is based within science education, more spesific with a focus on out-of-school learning that goes on in science centers. Together with a group of science center educators, we explored possibilities and challenges connected to controversy-based learning in their center. The aim of the project is to unwrap what controversy-based learning in science centers could look like, what are science center educators' perceptions about controversies and what are students responses to dealing with controversies in science centers?
