Professor

In English:

I am a professor in environmental chemistry, within geo sciences - soil. At NMBU my reasearch and teaching are mainly on soil/water pollution and soil as a growth medium for plants. My research work has focused on effects of acid precipitation on soil and water quality, Nitrogen cycling, trace metals with particular interest in Selenium, and in the last years; benefits and problems connected to recirculation of organic waste materials in the soil/plant system. My experiments and data collection are conducted in the laboratory, in the green house, as well as in the field, and often process-oriented, dynamic modelling is used as a tool  to understand the processes.
