I am a researcher in the Causative project where my main research interests include using novel sequencing technologies and bioinformatic tools to develop genomic resources for Norwegian livestock breeds. I am also interested in how different forms of genomic variation, especially structural variation, might affect phenotypic traits and how we can optimise bioinformatic pipelines to detect them.
I completed my PhD in bioinformatics in 2023 at NMBU with Professor Sigbjørn Lien in the Transpose project.
PhD degree in bioinformatics, NMBU (2019-2023)
Masters degree in Chemistry and Biotechnology, NMBU (2014-2019)
