Professor Karen O'Brien from the University of Oslo will talk about how we can transform to sustainability.
How do we transform at the rate, scale, speed, and depth that is called for in response to multiple global environmental crises?
How do we do this in an equitable and sustainable manner?

In this talk, O'Brien invites you to explore these questions through the lens of quantum social science. Drawing on the metaphors, methods, and meanings of quantum physics, O'Brien will focus on the relationship between individual change, collective, change, and systems change. By engaging simultaneously with the practical, political, and personal spheres of transformation, O'Brien will reflect on how each of us can generate quantum social change, and why you really do matter more that you think.
O'Brien has written the book You Matter More Than You Think: Quantum Social Change for a Thriving World (2021).
