Are you using long days at the lab, are you drowning more and more in your research? Is every day the same? Have you missed control over how much you actually work? Do you get exciting results but actually get low response from your supervisors or faculty? Do you doubt if you will ever finish your PhD period at all? Do not panic, you are not alone.
Veterinærhøgskolen has around 120 PhD candidates and between 20 -25 dissertations each year. Many share the same experiences as you do and therefore we would like to share these experiences together.
Program for Thursday March 22 will include:
- Introduction of NMBUs researchdirector Ragnhild Solheim
- Hannah Harrison about «her way to Green Talent Award».
- Lunch, mingling and poster presentations
- «My PhD», personal experiences from PhD candidates.
We know that many of you have posters from previous occasions (conferences etc). We would really like you to show them during the lunch this day. Send mail to Irma Oskam if you have a poster you would like to present. Deadline for registration if you have a pre-prepared poster is the 8. of March.
