Imaging

Research is conducted at the Biological Physics and Visualisation Laboratories at the Dept. of Mathematical Sciences and Technology, NMBU and in collaboration with national and international partners. The laboratories are equipped with several digital cameras such as standard consumer cameras, infrared cameras, a high speed camera, videomicroscopes and high resolution SLR cameras. Our Hyper Spectral Cameras are in the range of 400 to 2500 nm. The hyperspectral cameras are used both indoor and outdoor. The Hyperspectral cameras are used in different areas like

  • Food research applications
  • Evironmental monitoring
  • Characterisation of materials used in solar panels.

IMT is also connected to the NMBU Imaging Centre as a research node.
