Tomasz L. Woznicki is defending his PhD thesis “Influence of genotype and climatic environment on fruit yield and chemical composition of black currant (Ribes nigrum L.)” Wednesday June 8th 2016. The title of the trial lecture is: “Environmental effects on blackcurrant quality and the implications for future production”. The opponents are Dr. Rex Brennan, James Hutton Institute, Cell and molecular Sciences, Scotland and Dr. Kimmo Rumpunen, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Dept. of Plant Breeding. Tomasz Woznickis work is conducted at the Department of Plant Sciences (IPV), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and supervisors have been Siv Fagertun Remberg (IPV, NMBU), Anne-Berit Wold (IPV, NMBU), Anita Sønsteby (NIBIO) and Kjersti Aaby (Nofima).
