Waffle Thursday is a weekly event at SIT where students are welcome to talk about exchange, get CVs reviewed by the career counselor, practice a language, just hang out, meet other students and eat waffles. Each Waffle Thursday usually begins with a short presentation on a topic relevant for students.

Waffle Thursday

Waffle Thursday is arranged at the Student Information Centre (SIT) at 15:00-17:00. After a short presentation on e.g. how to handle stress, write your master thesis, going on exchange or on how to get a job, waffles are served and you can sit down, discuss today's topic with other students, and get to know new people.

The Career Centre is available every Waffle Thursday at 15:30-17:00 for CV- and application drop-in.

Waffle Thursday is open to all students, regardless of what the theme of the day is. Program students as well as exchange students are welcome, Norwegian speaking as well as English speaking. The presentations are most often in Norwegian, but questions can always be answered in English afterwards. Use the Waffle Thursdays to get to know a student who speak the language you want to learn, and use Waffle Thursday as an arena to meet as tandem partners.

Follow SIT on Facebook to get the updated Waffle Thursday events and program.
