NMBU has an agreement with the Agricultural University in the gorgeous city of Krakow, which by many is referred to as one of Europe's most beautiful cities. The city is on the UNESCO World Heritage list and has traditionally been one of Poland's leading centres for science, culture and art. Today the city is considered as the country's cultural capital. The Agricultural University of Krakow has approximately 8000 students and is centrally located in the middle of the city centre.

About the agreement
The agreement covers the areas of biotechnology /biology (master’s level), but students from other disciplines can also apply.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places
Two places for a year, or four places for a semester.

Language of teaching
Polish, but the university aims to adapt teaching for English speaking students.

Semester timing
Autumn semester: October - February.
Spring semester: February - June.

Tuition Fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

Accommodation
The university can help by putting students in contact with agencies which help with finding student rooms.
