Ås Municipality’s head doctor is in touch with the student and is working with the student to identify who the student has been in contact with. Persons in closest contact with the student are now quarantined. The Municipality’s head doctor is responsible for this task, and NMBU assists at their request.

Based on current information, the student was not infected on campus and the student does not reside in SiÅs student housing.

NMBU’s cleaning procedures include among other activities daily washing of contact points for germ transmission – door handles, light switches, etc. We encourage that everyone follow the advice on coughing and sneezing etiquette, good hand hygiene, and to respect one another.
