- For each of you, the last few years have been a long and intricate journey. You've worked hard, probably harder than ever before. You have broken new ground, said Rector Sjur Baardsen during this year's doctoral ceremony.
- You were trained to recognize problems and have developed important tools to solve them. Besides your personal development, your work is of course very important for NMBU. You are all good representatives of the hard-working scientific staff who keep the university alive and can exist, Bardsen emphasized.
Four of the CERAD PhD graduates received their degrees during the ceremony. Merethe Kleiven, Yevgeniya Tomkiv, Magne Simonsen and Lisa Rossbach defended their thesises in spring 2019. All of them worked on the different topics, from nanoparticles and marine modelling to risk communication and provided excellent contributions to the research at CERAD.
Our warm congratulations!
