Guest lecture: Following the Fukushima accident - Land use predicts recovery from Fukushima fallout

Yuichi Onda is Professor and Vice Head of Center for Research in Isotopes and Environmental Dynamics, at the University of Tsukuba. He is also Vice Head of Institute of Environmental Radioactivity, Fukushima University.

Professor Onda is the key leading scientist associated with the environmental impact of the Fukushima accident, being the chairman of one of the largest interdisciplinary and inter-institutional research project in Japan.

He has also published a series of very interesting articles related to the accident. His key research interest: Hydrogeomorphology, Hillslope Hydrology, Landslides, Geomorphic development.
