Experimental Radioecology and Radiobiology course in Ukraine

An international field course "Experimental Radioecology and Radiobiology" will be organised in Ukraine on June 1st-15th 2018. The course offers a unique opportunity to work in Chernobyl exclusion zone and is organized in cooperation between Centre for Environmental Radioactivity, Norwegian University of Life Sciences and National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

Experimental Radioecology and Radiobiology course in Ukraine

The aim of the course is that the students should obtain practical skills of working in radiation contaminated territories through solving actual problems in radiation ecology.

The course will include lectures, lab work and a field trip to Chernobyl exclusion zone.

If you are

  • Master or PhD student
  • interested in studying environmental problems of nuclear power and overcome the consequences of Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear power plants disasters

Travel and accommodation for NUBiP and NMBU students will be covered by Joint Ukrainian-Norwegian education programme in Environmental Radioactivity.
