Chernobyl accident resulted in radioactive contamination of the parts of Norway. How did researchers at Ås help to solve problems related to food production, which appeared after the accident? Vitenparken is organizing a seminar on Tuesday 26th of April from 11:30 to 16:15 (in Norwegian).

Chernobyl accident - 30 years after

Consequences of Chernobyl accident mobilized authorities and researchers to find solutions to the problems of contamination and save Norwegian sheep and reindeer meat production. They have succeeded, but even today, 30 years after the accident, some of the consequences can be seen in the most affected areas. Are we well prepared if the accident was to occur again?

CERAD directors Brit Salbu and Per Strand will be among those presenting at this seminar.
