The 10th International Conference on Nuclear and Radiation Physics

Brit Salbu and Ole Christian Lind represented CERAD at this conference and chaired sessions. They also gave scientific presentations:

  • Challenges related to nuclear legacy sites, B. Salbu
  • Environmental behaviour of radioactive particles, Ole Christian Lind and Brit Salbu

Future possibilities of collaboration were discussed on a meeting with NNC radiation ecology director Sergey Lukashenko. There is a strong mutual interest for collaboration, for example, to find funding for PhD fellowships for Kazakh candidates that can take courses and get training at NMBU but perform main part of their work in Semipalatinsk.
