Kappe Planning and Writing w/Dr. Tim Richardson

The kappe/introduction of the PhD thesis can be one of the most challenging portions to write for an article-based thesis. Join NMBU faculty Dr. Tim Richardson for a brown bag lunch discussion where he will share his knowledge on conceptualizing, framing, and eventually writing the PhD thesis introduction.

The discussion will be on 22nd of November and it will include topics like:
- what is the purpose of the introduction/kappe?
- what should the introduction/kappe include?
- what strategies can you use to tie your articles together?

Attendees will also have a chance to ask questions and discuss with other PhDs. PhDs in all stages of their work are welcome (never too early to plan the introduction!).

Location will be announced after we see how many people are interested in attending. Please RSVP as "Going" on facebook event (here) to be included in the official count. This is a brown bag lunch, so bring your own lunch to the discussion.
